An inmate incarcerated with the victim stated that he was brought to the yard by prison staff shortly before his death, clearly wounded and exposed from the hips downward. His body has not been returned to Gaza.

Other prisoners who perished in confinement by Israeli authorities stay unnamed. Correctional authorities and military supplied researchers with the figure of casualties in custody, and basic additional information including the location where they perished, but without the prisoners’ names.
